I am thrilled to share my thoughts on Angela, my esteemed classmate in the M.A. in Sign Language Education program at Gallaudet University. From the moment we first met, Angela's dedication to honing her teaching skills has been palpable. Having already taught ASL for three years, her commitment to continuous improvement is inspiring. 

As we journey through our program together, I have no doubt that Angela's future is filled with greatness. Her passion for teaching, coupled with her natural leadership abilities, will undoubtedly propel her to achieve remarkable things. Angela, what can I say about her? Too much! Ha, I’m glad I met her for the first time at Gallaudet University. We were classmates in our cohort for the Master’s in Sign Language Education program. I met her for the first time last year, and she is one of the most wonderful and potential ladies in our cohort. 

She is very organized and prepared for everything. The more I get to know her, the more I realize she is a workaholic. She holds different positions and is a mother of three kids. I tip my hat to her. I can see her professionalism is highly valued. 

She is an ASL professor, and I see her as an amazing professor, deeply respected by her students. She has always been there for me when I needed advice or an opinion; she is the perfect person to ask. You’ll love her once you meet her.

Angela Ellman is an event planning professional who brings strong commitment, focus, and enthusiasm to her projects. I have had a wonderful experience working with Angela over the past two years for NAD Board meetings, the NAD Leadership Training Conference, and the Biennial NAD Conference where she helped the NAD enhance its events despite insufficient resources.

Angela demonstrated an impressive ability to establish a wonderful rapport with our members and vendors. She is a excellent listener who conveys information clearly and effectively to individuals and groups. Her creative problem-solving skills enabled her to tackle thorny challenges on the fly while providing insightful advice on how to best respond to various issues. Finally, she is meticulous, the mark of a great event planner. As you can tell, I hold Angela in very high regard.

Angela’s work as NCIL’s contracted Conference Coordinator has been excellent and consistent. She is very organized and brings a solid commitment to quality to every task she takes on. Angela has repeatedly found ways for NCIL to streamline our coordination process – saving us considerable time and money.
